Quick answer
Monster Alchemy fusion means combining monsters in the Chimeric Chamber to create new species. If you searched for recipes or combinations, this is the page for monster + monster -> result records.
Exact pairings still need current Early Access verification. The page is now structured as a fusion database so verified rows can be added without mixing them with ingredient or item recipes.
Fusion quick check
Use this pattern when you want to answer "Can I fuse these two monsters?" in the current build:
| Check field | What to record |
|---|---|
| Input monster A | first selected monster |
| Input monster B | second selected monster |
| Displayed requirement | requirement shown by the Chimeric Chamber |
| Result status | pending until the game shows the result or an official source confirms it |
| Next action | verify in the current build before treating the pairing as a recipe |
If the Chimeric Chamber does not show a valid result or requirement for the pair, keep the recipe pending instead of copying an older clip or community guess.
Fusion combinations table
| Monster A | Monster B | Result | Requirement | Passive note | Mutation note | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| pending | pending | pending | check in Chimeric Chamber | record after result is known | mutation does not change passive | needs current-build verification |
Use this table only for Chimeric Chamber combinations. Ingredient recipes belong in the Recipes Database, and monster identity fields belong in the Monster Index.
How to verify a fusion row
- Open the Chimeric Chamber.
- Select Monster A and Monster B.
- Record every displayed requirement before completing the fusion.
- Complete the fusion and record the exact result name.
- Check whether the result has a passive, mutation, tier, type, or role note.
- Add the build date or source date.
Reverse lookup
When enough rows are confirmed, each result should support this player question:
| I want this result | Required pair | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| add when reproduced | reproduced pair | add once the current build shows the result |
That reverse lookup matters because GSC already shows demand for Monster Alchemy combinations as well as Monster Alchemy recipes.
Passives and mutations
Every crafted monster can have a permanent passive. Mutations are a separate layer: official material says mutations can change appearance and stats, but do not change the monster's passive. Keep passive and mutation notes in separate columns so a strong fusion result does not get confused with a lucky mutation roll.
Troubleshooting a fusion attempt
- Make sure you are using the Chimeric Chamber, not the item cauldron.
- Recheck both selected monsters and every displayed requirement.
- Do not rely on demo-only pairings unless they still work in Early Access.
- If the interface hangs or a save issue appears, use the known issues guide.
